Summary of the Fire Compliance Manager role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Compliance Manager to lead fire safety and statutory compliance across a diverse multi-site estate. Acting as the Responsible Person, you will oversee fire risk assessments, drive compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and manage contractors to ensure high standards across all properties. This interim role offers an immediate start with a Temp to Perm pathway for the right candidate.

Fire Compliance Manager Deliverables / Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

  • Lead all fire compliance and fire safety management activities across a varied property portfolio.

  • Manage a programme of fire risk assessments (FRAs) and ensure prioritised completion of remedial actions.

  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure delivery against KPIs and compliance standards.

  • Prepare detailed fire safety reports, bids, and schedules of works for senior stakeholders.

  • Provide specialist advice, training and support on fire safety processes and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including RRFSO 2005, building regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Preparation of progress updates and a comprehensive handover of all documented actions.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Compliance Manager, Fire Safety Manager, or similar fire leadership role.

  • NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Management, or equivalent fire safety qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of fire legislation, fire standards, and statutory compliance.

  • Experience managing large-scale multi-site contracts (100+ premises).

  • Contractor and performance management experience.

  • Experience within local government, estates, construction, or property management is advantageous.

  • Awareness of NEC3/NEC4 contracts (beneficial).

  • Budget management experience (desirable).

Location: Worcester / Hybrid Working

Travel: Travel to client sites is required, with limited public transport access. Applicants must have a valid driving license and their own reliable transport.

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Contract (with Temp to Perm pathway)

Day Rate: Competitive, aligned to £37,036 – £39,513 salary equivalent (depending on experience)
