Summary of the Technical Compliance Manager role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Compliance Manager to monitor site compliance, primarily delivered by the incumbent Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) provider, through planned and re-active audits as well as through inspections, meetings and information gathering. The Technical Compliance Manager will form a close working relationship with the client and is a critical part of the client FM Team in managing strategies to maintain and improve site compliance.
Technical Compliance Manager Deliverables / Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
Implement a comprehensive FM audit program, delivered directly and via FM colleagues.
Review, analyse and make recommendations to improve the IFM provider audit program (including technical audits and improvement actions).
Lead the Quality & Compliance forum from a technical perspective on behalf of the client.
Identify, review and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
Focus on added value through quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Establish risk management & mitigation plans.
Business continuity planning (within scope of FM activities).
Monitoring, communication, and support of FM contract deliverables.
Support the introduction of a comprehensive maintenance aspect (FM contract Yr. 2).
Monthly performance reporting and analysis for the client FM Team and IFM provider).
Creation of asset lifecycle plan including business risk and financial metrics.
Statutory compliance monitoring, awareness, and forward planning.
Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) compliance and support function (consultation, awareness, training).
Asset identification, verification and tagging.
Report writing.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience of working in a Technical FM (hard and/or soft services) Manager role.
Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) (essential).
Experience in compliance management in regulated environments (preferred).
M&E knowledge and ideally associated qualifications.
BESA/WIFM/Technical Industry equivalent qualifications (preferred).
Quality (ISO) and Audit experience.
Experience of working in a regulated environment (ideally laboratories and chemical production).
Senior client and supply chain management experience.
Location: Abingdon, on-site
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Permanent (with initial 3–6 month probation period review)
Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
